GEORGE BALANCHINE AND SUZANNE FARRELL 1965

"Sixty-one-year-old George Balanchine, whose birdman profile becomes more pointed every year, agreed to dance for one night only, May 27, as the hero of his new, full-length ballet, Don Quixote, commissioned by the New York City Ballet of which he is the flame. His Dulcinea is Suzanne Farrell, who has an improbable stretch of legs and a young face with the purity of a girl in a mediaeval miniature."
