David Lynch directed the live webcast of Duran Duran featuring Beth Ditto. The concert was the fourth in the American Express UNSTAGED series, a concept that pairs bands with directors for a live, globallt-streaming concert event.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more fascinating weaver of tales on screen.  At sixty-five, David Lynch continues to create sounds and visuals uniquely masterful for their disparate range from a lush moodiness tinged with disquieting undertones,  to  light-hearted melodies with a "home on the range" simplicity.  Ah, but even the simple tune has a twinge of angst.

His female characters continue to haunt years after their debut.  Isabella Rossellini, as the tortured nightclub singer in Blue Velvet;  the richly detailed double-life of  Twin Peak's Laura Palmer - played by Sheryl Lee,  whose story drove the show forward as her secrets were revealed after her death at the start of the top-rated series.  Twin Peaks became a part of pop culture, referenced in all forms of social media.

An accomplished painter, writer, director, producer, mentor, and  musician - this  former Eagle Scout from Missoula Montana,  is a  true renaissance man of our time.
